Health Careers Kit

The Health Careers kit, developed in 1997, forms part of a wider project aimed at promoting Multidisciplinary Health careers to rural high school students. Since its initial development, this kit has expanded to include information related to health, medicine and nursing programs offered at all NSW universities which offer these programs.

The kit has information about the various health programs offered at each of the participating universities in addition to the options available to make the experience of University more accessible to rural high school students.

The Health Careers Kit is disseminated to rural high school career advisers, Rural Health Training Units, NSW GP Divisions, NSW Area Health Services and Universities to promote medicine, health and nursing programs to high school students and other individuals interested in a career in health.
