Training

PHReNet runs a range of introductory research training and support activities for members of the network. If you are a primary health care professional and located in Sydney (south, east and south west), Greater Murray or the Illawarra and Shoalhaven and are interested in attending our events you need to join the network. You are then eligible to register for our research training workshops / activities.

Introductory level research training workshops

Workshops are held in the Sydney and Illawarra region.

Evidence Based Journal Club for GPs and GP registrars

Journal Club is held at PHReNet member practices.

Writing Group

These sessions are held at the GP unit Fairfield Hospital.

Drop in / advice sessions

The sessions are held at Illawarra Division of General Practice.

Research Seminars (Quarterly)

These seminars alternate betwen the Institute of General Practice Education (IGPE) and the GP unit (GPU), Fairfield Hospital.
