Prof Harris-named as a person of influence
Professor Mark Harris, Executive Director of the CPHCE, was named one of the 50 most influential people in general practice in 2005, in a poll published in Australian Doctor.
In responding to his inclusion in the list Prof. Harris said, "It is a great honour to be included in this list. It positions our Centre at the forefront of research on the development of general practice in Australia."
Prof. Harris was named in recognition of his leadership in the development of the SNAP framework for general practice and his contributions to research in preventive health.
