CPHCE awarded infrastructure grant
The CPHCE was one of six medical organisations to receive $1.15 million over three year to support research under the NSW Capacity Building Infrastructure Grants Program.
The Grants are awarded on the basis of excellence in research in the area of public health, primary health care delivery of health services.
“The grants provide practical support for researchers covering essential costs such as salaries of senior research support staff, equipment, and IT infrastructure for their research,” Health Minister John Harzistergos.
CPHCE executive Director, Professor Mark Harris has welcomed the news: “The grant allows the centre to establish an infrastructure that will let us become a Centre of excellence for primary health care research in Australia. Including communication to partners and collaborators”.
