CPHCE secures Stream 6 APHCRI grants
CPHCE researchers were successful in securing two of nine funding grants, in the latest round of funding grants available from the Australian Primary Health Care Research Institute (APHCRI).
The stream six funding will aim to inform policy on workforce issues. These grants will utilise CPHCE existing expertise in the health systems development stream.
Dr David Perkins, Director of CPHCE research group CEPHRIS, leads research examining the place of generalism in mental health care in Australia.
While, a project focusing on optimizing skill mix in the primary care workforce for the care of older Australians will be led by Prof. Nicholas Zwar, Director of the research group at the General Practice unit, Fairfield hospital.
