NHMRC grant success

The Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity recieved a NHMRC Grant for 2007-2009 of $722,700 to conduct a randomised controlled trial of general practice based intervention to prevent chronic vascular disease. The chief investigator for this project wil be Professor Mark Harris, the Executive Director of CPHCE.

The grant awarded to CPHCE is part of nearly $35 million dollars in health funding awarded to UNSW researchers. Read the full story about NHMRC UNSW grant successes here.
