GP Unit Academic Registrar awarded best first time presenter award at RACGP
Dr Joel Rhee, recent Academic registrar at the GP Unit between January and July 2007, received the Allan Chancellor award and $500 for best first-time presenter of a research paper at the RACGP Annual Scientific Convention 2007 for his paper ‘General practitioners and palliative care study’.
Dr Rhee, is the second Academic registrar with the GP unit to receive this award. Dr Daisy Tan was awarded the best first time presenter award in 2005, for her presentation: ‘Weight Management in General Practice - What Do Patients Want?’
