HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections in Australia Annual Surveillance Report


The Annual Surveillance Report has been published each year since 1997. The Annual Surveillance Report provides a comprehensive analysis of HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections in Australia and includes
  • international comparisons of AIDS incidence and HIV prevalence
  • projections of the number of people living with HIV infection in Australia
  • estimates of incidence and prevalence of HIV and viral hepatitides in populations at higher and lower risk for infection
  • patterns of treatment for HIV and hepatitis C infection
  • behavioural risk factors for HIV and hepatitis C infection.
  • Figures published in each Annual Surveillance Report are also available in a downloadable Slide set
