Training


PHReNet runs a range of introductory research training and support activities for members of the network. If you are a primary health care professional and located in Sydney (south, east and south west), Greater Murray or the Illawarra and Shoalhaven and are interested in attending our events you need to join the network. You are then eligible to register for our research training workshops / activities.

  • Thursday 19 August, 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Boral Theatre, Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), UNSW.

Introductory level research training workshops

Workshops are held in the Sydney and Illawarra region.

Evidence Based Journal Club for GPs and GP registrars

Journal Club is held at PHReNet member practices.
  • 11 July, 1:00 pm - 2:00pm, GPU.

Writing Group

These one hour sessions are held at the GP unit Fairfield Hospital.
  • 8 June, 10:00am - 11:00am.

These friday lunchtime seminars alternate betwen GP Synergy Sydney South West and the GP unit, Fairfield Hospital.
